On a minor's HMIS ROI how can we distinguish who the ROI is for?
On the last page, the adult writes their relationship to the minor along with the minor's name

Scenario: The member submitted their household's income on 7/10/23. They submitted the adult's IDs on 7/11/23. We are still waiting for the minors' identifications. When is the HPS enrollment date?
It is the date that the entire household submits their income and identifications
It would be the date that the minors' IDs are submitted.

Due to the very limited resources in the county and the high demand for housing financial assistance, if someone is active in certain programs that provides financial assistance and case management they would be sent back to their active program if they need additional assistance.

What do you do if the when the Head of Household prefers not to initial some protected personal information (PPI) on the HMIS ROI that could affect their HPAT score.
If the Head of Household refuses to sign some PPI boxes on the HMIS ROI the Screener would complete the HPAT on PDF fillable form to capture their accurate score. If the fillable PDF is used, it should be downloaded and opened using Adobe Reader. Otherwise, it won't do the calculation because the form can only do the calculation when being opened with Adobe Reader). Then follow the “Client Consent and the HPAT : What Information Can I enter into HMIS?” to see what questions need to put client refuses on the HPAT on HMIS. If the score is a qualifying score on the PDF version, the Screener would make a note on HMIS to explain the discrepancy of the score. The note must be captured within the general Notes tab of their HMIS profile

Abby is staying with her friend for 3 weeks, Amanda, while she looks for a place. Amanda let Abby use her home address to received her benefits statements. Her friend is not having her pay rent but Abby helps the household by buying groceries and doing some chores. Amanda told Abby she needs to move out by August 1st.
Can Abby take the HPAT?
If she cannot take the HPAT what documents would we ask Abby to submit to prove she has been living with Amanda to continue with a HIF or SOS intake?
Abby cannot take the HPAT because Amanda gave her a move out date. If a member has been living with a family member or friend while they search for their own place must have no move out date in order to be eligible to take the HPAT. Someone who is staying at various friend’s or family’s homes on a short-term and temporary basis, staying at hotels or Airbnbs is not considered permanently housed and cannot take the HPAT.

He asked his boss for a copy of the paystub but the boss said it would take a couple weeks. The member's landlord has threatened eviction. The member tried to take screenshots of his banking app but the app does not allow him to take screenshots. How can we assist this member to complete the income verification requirement?
-ask the member to come in so we can take pictures of the banking app with Alejandra's work cell phone
-if the member is not able to come in due to health or disability reach out to Alejandra to coordinate meeting the member in a public place
Scenario:
Estella has a screening appointment with you for past due rental assistance. She is the caretaker for Rosa. Rosa is the one seeking assistance. Rosa is elderly and is hard of hearing. When you call for the screening appointment Rosa just took her medication that makes her drowsy and she is taking a nap. Estella answers the phone. How would you proceed?
