New ports were built that allowed us to ship Indiana goods to the world. The Port of Indiana was built on Lake Michigan. It had access to the Atlantic Ocean through the St. Lawrence Seaway. Two other ports were built on the Ohio River, Southwind Maritime Center and Clark Maritime Center. They had access to the Gulf of Mexico through the Mississippi River.

How did the Korean War end?
It ended with a cease-fire. Neither the North nor the South actually won. The country remains divided today. North Korea is very isolated none of the world's nations has much contact with it.
