Math homework - every day!
Science homework - long-term unit study guides to be completed as we go through the unit.

What are the expectations for my work?

All math done in pencil. Name on all your papers. Complete sentences that make sense. Show your best every time.

Go down the stairs to the nearest exit.
Stay with the class as much as you can.

What sort of graded classwork will we be getting?

Most graded classwork assignments will be completed with a partner or in a group, with occasional independent assignments.

What are the expectations for my behavior?

Use kind, school-appropriate language at all times. Stop what you're doing when an adult wants your attention. Work with your classmates! Seriously, be mice to each other - no drama!

Where do we go in case of a lockdown?

Sit between the smartboard and the long prep table in the front of the room. Try not to move or make any sound.

How does Math Prime compare to Math 6?

Math Prime covers the same topics as Math 6 but with additional Pre-Algebra topics mixed in. My expectations for Math Prime are higher in terms of quality of work and explanations.

What's the difference between tattling and responsible reporting?

Tattling - trying to get someone else in trouble. Responsible reporting - You need help with a social situation or someone is doing something that is hurtful (physical or emotional)
