What is a physical property?
This is a form of separating a mixture that uses particle size as the physical property to separate substances.

These are the three major states of matter.

What is the difference between a scientific theory and a hypothesis?
A scientific theory has been been repeatedly tested and is a tested explanation for why/how a particular natural event takes place. A hypothesis has not yet been tested, it is only a proposed explanation.

Compound - NaCl or sodium chloride
