Is there homework/exams in workshop? Do you get a "grade" in workshop (as in a letter grade)? What determines whether you get credit or not?

There is no grade in workshop! It's simply credit or no credit. You get credit if you simply attend workshop!

NOTE: You can have no more than 2 absences show up on your attendance record by the end of Week 10 if you want to receive credit for workshop.

Are there quizzes? If so, when are they given, and how are they set up (i.e. how many questions, what types of questions)?

There is a weekly quiz given on the first day of each week (usually Monday).

Quizzes will have two questions: 

1) short answer question that may contain multiple parts, usually coming from material earlier in the previous week (i.e. Monday/Tuesday)

2) usually a T/F question that can come from any part of the previous week's lectures
