- Her mother, Khadijah (RA) passing away the same time when the Boycott by the Quraysh was lifted.
- Witnessing her older sisters Umm Kulthum and Ruqayya being forced to divorce their husbands because their husbands were related to the Quraysh tribe (the sons of Abu Lahb)
- Living through the boycott at the age of 12. She experienced starvation and exhaustion and witnessed mother getting sick from it till death.
- Watching her father (Prophet Muhammd pbuh) grieve over her mom/his wife.
-Married Ali ibn Abi Talib but were not very wealthy and so she experienced lots of hard labor even though she was known to be a very thin and fragile woman.
-Hearing that her sister, Ruqayya passed away from a painful disease.
-Witnessed her father passing away and passing away 6 months after.

Islam represents our religion and outward actions that we do that shows that we are Muslims (praying, fasting, zakah...)
Iman represents our faith and inward action that we do to strengthen our relationship with Allah swt (believing in Allah, his angels, his books, etc...)
Ihsan represents how we worship Allah swt. We should worship him as if we see him since we know he sees us.
The second stage in the path towards Allah (swt) is Iman, where individuals not only perform the required actions but also strengthen their relationship with Allah by praying, doing zakat, fasting, testifying there is no God but Allah, etc.
