Hashing is the practice of transforming a string of characters into another value for the purpose of security.
ID Monitoring items are always "transformed" into a
unique ID (hash) based on an algorithm before they are stored by GGA or sent to an ID Monitoring vendor. A unique ID cannot be reversed or "decrypted" keeping the user’s information secure.
