The Police Station gets Robbed
What is Situational / Unexpected because a police station getting robbed only happens in ironic situations.

What is Foil because the tortoise is slow and steady while the hare is fast.

A mother sees her child’s messy room and says, “I love how your room is always so clean!”
What is Verbal irony because the room is messy and the mother is saying it is clean in what can be assumed is a sarcastic tone.
We know Elsa has powers but Anna does not
What is Dramatic because we the audience know Elsa has powers, but Anna doesn’t.

What is Oxymoron because shrimp are tiny but to have a jumbo shrimp is to say that the small shrimp was big.
What Irony is this (Explain): A man complains loudly that the people around him are being too loud.
What is Situational / Unexpected because the man can only complain loudly that people are being loud in a situation where they are being loud.

What is Oxymoron because the song talks about silence being loud.

Romeo finds Juliet dead and ends his life to be with her.
What is Dramatic irony because we know Juliet is alive when Romeo doesn’t.
In a horror film a character runs into an abandoned house with the killer in it.
What is Dramatic because in horror films we know it is not the right idea to run into the creepy building by movie logic that depicts what we do.
Protagonist v Antagonist
What is Foil because the Antagonist contrasts the qualities of the Protagonist.
What type of Juxtaposition is this (Explain): Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee (Lord of the Rings)
What is Foil because Frodo is burdened by the Ring’s corrupting influence, leading to slow erosion of his will and mental stability. Sam, by contrast, remains steadfast in his endurance and optimism, refusing to be tempted or broken.
