How is the meat distributed?
After completing the stoning ritual at Jamarat, pilgrims preform Qurbani by sacrificing sheep, goats or cows and distributing the meat the family, neighbours and the poor. This is done to commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim (as) and his unwavering devotion to Allah (swt).
Meat distribution: 1/3 for the poor, 1/3 for yourself, 1/3 for friends and relatives
