(Surah Ṭā-Hā 20:25–28)
Meaning:
“My Lord, expand for me my chest, ease my task, untie the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech.”
Prophet Musa (AS)
Which Prophet split the sea to escape Firaun?
The Prophet was Musa (AS).
When Firaun and his army pursued the Children of Israel, Allah commanded Musa (عليه السلام):
“فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنِ اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ”
“So We inspired to Musa: Strike with your staff the sea.” (Surah Ash-Shuʿara 26:63)
By Allah’s permission, the sea split into two massive walls of water, creating a dry path for the Israelites to escape. When Pharaoh and his army tried to follow, the waters returned, drowning them.
This battle, the first major victory in Islamic history, occurred during Ramadan.

Prophet Isa (AS)
This miracle is mentioned in Surah Maryam (19:29–30). When Maryam (عليها السلام) brought him to her people and they accused her, she pointed to the baby. They said:
كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِي الْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّا
“How can we speak to one who is in the cradle, a child?”
Then Isa (عليه السلام) miraculously spoke:
قَالَ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ آتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا
“He said: Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet.”
This companion narrated the famous duʿa recommended for Laylat al-Qadr:
“Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibul afwa fa foo anee”
اللهم إنك عفوٌ تحب العفو فاعفُ عني
It was narrated by Aisha (رضي الله عنها), who asked the Prophet ﷺ what to say if she finds Laylat al-Qadr, and he taught her this duʿa.

Allah mentions this in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:260). Ibrāhīm (عليه السلام) said:

Allah asked him:
أَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ
“Do you not believe?”
He replied:
بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِي
“Yes, but so that my heart may be at ease.”
Allah then instructed him to take four birds, cut them into pieces, place portions on different hills, and call them. By Allah’s command, they came back to life and returned to him.
What are the two main purposes of Zakat al-Fitr, as mentioned in hadith?
According to Ḥadith narrated by Abū Sa‘īd al-Khudrī (رضي الله عنه), the Prophet ﷺ said:
"Ṣadaqat al-Fitr purifies the fasting person from idle or obscene speech and feeds the poor."
(Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1607, Ibn Mājah 1783)
So the two purposes are:
To purify the fasting person from minor mistakes or inappropriate speech.
To provide for the poor, enabling them to celebrate Eid.
What major historical event occurred on Yawm Ashura (the 10th of Muharram)?
The deliverance of Prophet Musa (Moses) and the Israelites from Pharaoh by Allah.
