Divine Command: Allah revealed the command to change the Qibla in the Qur’an, Surah Al-Baqarah (2:144–145).

- Direction Changed: Muslims were instructed to face the Kaaba in Makkah during prayer.

- While leading Ṣalat, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ turned from Jerusalem towards the Kaaba.
