Minor shirk - can include riya: showing off, fortune tellers, horoscopes, luck, black magic

A person's good deeds will go to waste because shirk is considered a major sin
Major shirk is not liked by Allah (swt) and is one of the greatest sins and acts of ungratefulness to Allah (Swt). If someone commits major shirk and repents to Allah (swt) they will be forgiven.
