You are treating a guest who is bleeding profusely from a deep cut on their arm. You have applied a tourniquet, but the wound is still losing a lot of blood. What is your next step?

Apply a second tourniquet 2-3 inches above the first tourniquet, unless the second tourniquet would be on a joint (elbow or knee) then the second tourniquet is placed directly above the joint.
