Scenario 2 – Windows Easy Transfer is used for single computer migrations such as transferring to a new computer from an old computer or when you upgrade your operating system. This process takes the profile from the first computer onto some form of a connection medium and then is transferred to the new system. The second way is through wipe and load migration. This method uses only one computer and the user saves their profile to an external medium and then performs a clean install on the computer.
