Make sure no one is hurt and immediately call the health board/inside safety volunteer. Inform the team lead so they can have the cleanup done. If any medical issues occur, then it will be determined to call 911 immediately. Ensure to keep the area clear to avoid anyone else getting injured.

Two volunteers get into a disagreement and it results into a physical altercation. As a safety and security volunteer, what is your responsibility?
Deescalate the situation as fast as possible and call 911 if any serious injuries. Within same night of the incident, inform leadership and fill out the incident report form.

Scenario: It is Chandraat. Your Team Lead has asked you to come on duty. You notice that it is a hybrid day. What are the expectations for the hybrid day?
Adult volunteers will work closely and collaboratively with the youth volunteers in the service areas. For example, an Adult volunteer will be paired with a youth volunteer in the kitchen to work on the assign task together.
You received protocol from leadership about how to handle the Jamat since it's a big day. A Jamati member gets frustrated with you since you have told them to wait in line. How do you handle this?
Apologize for the inconvenience and try to calm them down. If situation escalates, get Team Lead or Facilitator.
In the event of an active shooter, what is the proper protocols and procedures to follow?
The safety volunteer will radio the team lead and will go into an active lockdown. The volunteers will make sure to guide the Jamat to the proper rooms and halls, away from an open windows, and will close all lights. Immediately assign someone to call 911 and try your best to keep the Jamat quiet during the lockdown.
For the past two months, your duty day preference was Mondays. However, you decided to change your preference for the next following months to Fridays. Who should you notify?
