When reserving items, patrons can either be a "request" or "continuous" BBM user. What is a "request" patron versus "continuous" patron?
A request patron only wants materials that are requested by them. They can either place holds on items on their own or they can call Info Central at 941-861-1110 and a team member can place holds.
A continuous patron will tell us their preferred authors, genres, and favorite titles. We will ask them if there are any subjects or content that should be avoided. Ask how many items they would like at one time. Once we know what types of items they would like to receive, we will choose these items for them.
