What is the first thing you do when you are preparing to pass medication?
Check the EMAR/MAR for medications to be administered on your shift and review the Health Progress Notes and the Communication Book/Rtasks messages for any changes.

Marissa- No alone time in the community, and 3 hours of alone time in the home.
River- 2 hour alone time in the home, and unlimited alone time in the community with 6 hour check ins.
What do you do with a residents medication if they refuse to take them?
If the medications are refused or become contaminated (ie. dropped) they must be placed in the appropriate location for disposal.
