Different:  Houses built out of wood in the forest(our houses are made out of different materials and are stronger), the colonists dressed similar to one anther in baggier clothing (we wear different clothing, more colorful), colonists worked outdoors under strenuous conditions (we work in modern buildings, with computers, etc.)
