Partners are permitted to use over-the-counter medications or their own prescription medications when taken in accordance with a valid prescription and when it does not impair the partner’s job performance or safety. If a prescribed medication may affect performance or safety, partners are expected to discuss the situation with their manager prior to working.

What are the updates for Merchandise Availability and Partner Purchase Standards?
Merchandise may not be held for purchase at a later time, including on launch days. Partners may only purchase merchandise when the store is open to serve customers, and they are off duty. For non-exempt partners, off duty means they are off the clock or on a designated break. For exempt partners, it means they are not scheduled or expected to work and are not representing the company in any official capacity. Merchandise cannot be purchased before store opening or after store closing. When making a purchase, partners must wait in line with other customers and have another partner process the transaction at the register. Partners are not permitted to hold merchandise for friends, family, other partners, or customers.
