The cross-walks! And if there is a crossing guard there, wait until they tell you it's time to cross

Why is it important to keep our voice level low?
When there's so many people, the noise can get big fast. Then you can't hear when it's time to be excused! (Plus it can give people headaches when it's so loud!)
When should we get out of the car?
When it is at a complete stop, and the cars in front of you are stopped too.
Can you play football, tag, basketball, jumprope, or any other recess game while you wait?
Nope
What should we not stand or walk in front of?
Doorways. Ouch!

Good morning! (We love that!)
What should you be doing as you wait for your ride?
Watching for your car
Sitting or standing near the front where the teachers are
Talking quietly with your friends

Sidewalks
Not the grass, walls, tan bark or bushes
How can we honor other people's space?
Stay in our spot
Keep our lunch items in front of us
Not touching other students
What should you always say to the person dropping you off?
Goodbye! Have a good day! Love you! (Or something like that . . . parents like that kind of thing!)
If you are in the front parking lot, where do you get in your car?
AFTER the crosswalk.
We cannot have students running after the crosswalk to get in the car. We also can't have students running through the parking lot. Your safety is important to us!!
