What is Ambulatory?
A resident patient calls the practice with a question for their provider. The resident is NOT on ambulatory. This is who the message should be sent to.
Who is the Team PA with the Resident PCP cc'd on the message?
A patient needs an appointment for urgent care and their PCP is in clinic. This person should see the patient.
Who is the patient's PCP?
A resident patient needs to be seen urgently and their team PA is not available. You book an appointment with Kit Chan instead. This is what you need to do so that the staff that reviewing the schedules knows why a resident patient was booked with faculty urgent care instead of the team PA.

A red team resident patient calls to request their Medicare Wellness Visit. This is who the patient should be booked with for their MWV.
