Jena believes in smarter border enforcement. One of her initiatives is to put facial recognition technology at physical border checkpoints or along the border wall. This way, we can catch criminals BEFORE they enter the country, collaborate with international law enforcement, and reduce harmful border crossings.
She'd like to pull back recently hired ICE agents for additional training and redirect their funding to the border.
Jena also believes in expanding pathways to citizenship, supporting the refugee resettlement program, & consider expanding work visas.
