What is self-management?
Producing a desirable change in ones own behaviour. It allows us to be more efficient and accomplish tasks.
What is motivation?
Motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviors.
It is what causes you to act, whether it is getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to gain knowledge.
Motivation involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activate behavior.
Motivation is what makes the rewards rewarding
Motivation can come from within or the outside
It's usually healthier, saves money and you can learn new skills!
Why do you need computer skills are work?
We need computer skills because technology can be found anywhere and in any job role. Employers want to know that you have foundational skills and will be able to learn new systems and technology.
You need computer skills to build your resume, cover letter and apply to jobs!

There are three main elements to self-management.
Three main elements: self-monitoring, self- recording, self-evaluation
Rewards can vary from something simple like a glass of water, high five, someone giving you positive feedback, hanging out with your friends, reaching a goal
Do you think that rewarding yourself or getting rewarded from others is important?
Rewards can help us maintain motivation and encourage us
Example: If your boss keeps telling you that you’re doing a great job you may be more likely to keep working hard.

Find recipes (if applicable) for the meals, and find out what foods you need to make it
