Explain why the colour magenta doesn't technically exist

Magenta is the result of when your eyes see a colour, and your red and blue cone receptors go off in such a way that would indicate green, but your green cone receptor doesn't go off, so your brain essentially makes something up. There is no wavelength for magenta.
