What is an IEP?
Offers a variety of transportation services for people with disabilities in Delaware, including fixed-route bus transportation, specialized transit programs, and paratransit.
What is DART (Delaware Authority for Regional Transit)?
Offer students with disabilities an early start at career exploration and preparation for adult life. Topics include: Job Exploration Counseling, Work-Based Learning Experiences, Counseling on Opportunities for Enrollment in Comprehensive Transition or Post-Secondary Education Programs, Workplace Readiness Training to Develop Social Skills and Independent Living, and Instruction in Self Advocacy.
What is Pre-ETS?
Ensure that all people with disabilities and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
Who/What is Easter Seals?
Documents the IEP team's review of data and discussion of eligibility determination for a student.
What is an ESR?
A service of Pathways to Employment that help participants access needed employment services and other supports. Navigators also help coordinate between various services, including other medical, social, and educational services, regardless of funding source. This service is provided by State staff.
What is an EN (Employment Navigator)?
Assists individuals with disabilities to go to work. In turn, the expectation is that you, as the job seeker, will gain employment by the end of this process.
What is DVR?
A non-profit organization that provides customized employment and community-based support services for individuals with disabilities.
Who/What is ServiceSource?
Given to students who receive special education services who exit school or graduate with a diploma.
A document that includes the student's abilities, aspirations, unique needs/goals, Academic/functional strengths/needs, Needed accommodations, strategies for success, and recommendations for meeting post-secondary goals.
What is a S.O.P. (Summary of Performance)
A case manager who helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families connect with community resources.
What is a CN (Community Navigator)?
Our mission is to provide educational, vocational, and technical support to empower and foster independence for Delawareans with visual impairments.
What is DVI (Division for the Visually Impaired)?
Provides monthly payments to people with disabilities and older adults who have little or no income or resources.
What is SSI (Supplemental Security Income)?
helps people with disabilities find meaningful employment and provides the support to succeed.

What is CIS (Community Integrated Services)?
