Jordan has a fear of crowded and enclosed spaces.  While in NYC, he had to ride the subway.  Jordan and his friend bought tickets and stood on the platform to wait.  Jordan closed his eyes and took slow, deep breaths.  When the train arrived, it was FULL of people.  Jordan slowly walked onto the train and looked around with wide eyes.  His hand shook as he gripped the rail.  He held the rail really tight.  Jordan looked at his friend and said "I've been looking forward to this ride all day"

Last week Toby helped Desiree carry a big pile of books into class (he had seen her struggling with them as she walked down the hallway).  Yesterday Toby helped Desiree open her locker when it was jammed.  Today Toby saw that Desiree was struggling to open the side door to get into the school building.  She was holding a bag of supplies for the class winter party.  He ran over to the door, opened it and held it open as Desiree walked into school.  Desiree giggled and said " Toby, you ned to learn how to make yourself more useful.  You just never seem to be around when I need help."  She smiled as she spoke and she gave Toby a wink.
