Who is the Unabomber? Over 17 years, he terrorized the United States with his untraceable bombs, killing three and injuring 24. He sent a manifesto to the FBI, which was published in the Washington Post and the New York Times. David Kaczynski saw the manifesto and called the FBI to report his brother’s strange behavior. The FBI was able to identify him as the Unabomber based on linguistic analysis of some of his other documents. He was convicted and sentenced to life at the Colorado federal supermax prison.
