A photocopy of the donor's photo ID must be made and retained in the DRF to identify the donor. One the photocopy, document the reason for using the photocopy, as follows: "Camera broken", or similar.
Explain the process of handling a failed initial weight on a PCS2 Machine?
Document the failed result, circle the out of range result, and document your initials. Follow the PCS2 display to recalibrate the machine, reweigh the machine, document the new weight in the comment section along with initials.
What do you do when a donor has experienced two consecutive "No Plasmas"?
A donor hold must be placed in BECS for 7 days following the second "No Plasma" and a comment must be put in BECS and on the Donor Card that the donor deferral was applied.
