DAILY DOUBLE: What procedures should we use when a customer's baggage is lost by the delivery company?


  1. Document the file "bag lost by the delivery company."
  2. Investigate the situation by contacting the delivery vendor and documenting the file.
  3. Send an email to Baggage.ACS@delta.com with the necessary information
  4. Advise the customer to submit their claim via our web form on delta.com/baggage and upload appropriate receipts.
  5. Advise the customer that upon receipt of the claim, they will receive a response within 60 days.
