Jehovah showed a great demonstration of His power at the opening of the cave. First, a powerful wind blew past the cave. Next, there was an earthquake and then a fire. Jehovah also told Elijah there were 7,000 people who still worshipped him in Israel.

When the widow’s son died, With Jehovah’s help, Elijah was able to bring him back to life. We know she was convinced Elijah was a prophet because she stated that Elijah ‘said only what Jehovah told him to say.’
