Talk to a friend or an adult, use a coping skill that works for you, take a walk, find something appropriate that will help to make you feel better.
Do NOT get upset and yell, say mean things, or throw/hit things. You do not want to get yourself into trouble if you are not able to figure out a way to calm yourself down.

Someone who trespasses and steals, or burglarizes, things from inside a house or a building.

Regularly cleaning and washing your body (like hand washing and bathing with soap and warm water), brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing, wearing clean clothes, and regular grooming (like hair and nail care).

What is the difference between a fiction and a nonfiction book?
Fiction is a book that is made up and is not based on real people, events, things, or places.
Nonfiction is a book based on real facts and is about real people, events, things, or places.
Why do people brush their teeth twice a day? Can you brush your teeth more than twice a day?
Brushing your teeth twice a day (in the morning when you wake up and at night before you go to bed) keeps your teeth clean and your breath fresh. You can brush your teeth more than twice a day if you feel like you need to!
How can you tell if the dishes in the dishwasher are dirty or clean?
Open the dishwasher and look at the dishes that are loaded inside. If they have food and dirt on them, they are NOT clean. Check the sign on the outside of the dishwasher door to see if it says 'dirty dishes' or 'clean dishes'.
After school, my ride home did not show up. What should I do?
Stay safe by going back into the school and immediately contact a trusted adult. Wait for your ride in a safe location.
Your movie starts at 12:00pm and ends at 2:00pm. How many hours long is the movie?

Why should you keep your fingers and personal items out of your mouth?
Your hands and fingers have germs all over them from touching things throughout the day. Putting them in your mouth can get you sick. You also have germs in your mouth that can make other people sick.

People will not want to talk to you or be near you if you smell and are not clean. It can be hard to get a job and make friends if you are not practicing good hygiene.
Why is it important to cook your foods properly before eating them?
Underprepared, or undercooked, foods can be dangerous. Cooking your food kills harmful bacteria and reduces the risk of food poisoning.
What is a “self care day”? What are some things that people might choose to do on a self care day?
A self care day is a day that is dedicated to taking care of yourself, which can look different for everybody. You can do this by participating in fun activities, like listening to music, going for a walk on the beach, watching your favorite movie/tv show, taking a hot bubble bath, or baking your favorite dessert.
You go out to eat with a group of friends at your favorite pizza place. A soda costs $1.50, and one piece of pizza costs $3.00. You decide to order 2 pieces of pizza and a soda. How much money will your total be? Why might somebody leave more money than their total?
Total=$7.50
People leave more than their total because they are leaving a tip for their waiter or waitress. They worked hard while serving you your food, and a tip is a way to say thank you!

A voyage is a long, long journey.
An adventure is an exciting activity.
A quest is a long search for something.
