Chaos, annihilation, not goodness.

Are there more stars then there are grains of sand?

Yes, it's honestly quite ridiculous.

200

Name all four gas giants in our solar system.

- Jupiter.

- Saturn.

- Uranus.

- Neptune.

200

What is this?

This is a "nebula".

200

What is the opposite of the sun?

If you said "the not sun", all of your points are getting deducted. If you said "the moon", congratulations.

300

What color is our moon during a "lunar eclipse"?

Red. It is also sometimes called a "blood moon".

300

What are the smallest type of stars known to exist?

Red dwarf stars. Having the lowest mass and in extremely rare occasions, being the size of planets, these guys are the smallest stars known to man.

However, if your answer was "Neutron star", you're also technically right and will be awarded points as the host sees fit.

300

What is the storm on Jupiter called?

"The Great Red Spot". Another thing I can't explain in just a few words. Very interesting.

It's about the size of three earth's side by side.

300

What is the biggest black hole in the universe called?

TON-618. I like that.

300

If you drank water, you get points! Staying hydrated is healthy.

400

Name both of Mars' moons.

The moons are called "Phobos" and "Deimos".

In greek mythology, they are called "fear" and "terror".

400

What is the end stage of our sun's life called?

When it has burned everything, E X P A N D E D and coughed up all of its last life, it'll turn into a white dwarf. Then, when the white dwarf has released all of its light, it'll be a black dwarf.

Both white and black dwarf are correct answers.

400

Wind speed. What is the highest recorded wind speed ever discovered on a planet?

HD 189733b, an exoplanet orbiting a star twelve times closer than even Mercury, has winds that reach up to 8700 kilometers per hour, which is 7 times the speed of sound!

400

What is Ice VII?

When water molecules are compacted so tightly to the point that water turns to ice without it being cold.

400

What is the black hole in the middle of our milky way called?

Sagittarius A!

500

How many moons are orbiting the planets of our solar system? You can guess within a range of ten moons.

There are exactly 171 moons orbiting each and every planet of our solar system currently.

Earth = 1 moon.

Mars = 2 moons.

Jupiter = 66 moons.

Saturn = 62 moons.

Uranus = 27 moons.

Neptune = 13 moons.

I'm really sorry, but dwarf planets don't count. Sorry Pluto...

500

What two gasses is the outer layer of a star made out of and is constantly burning?

Hydrogen and Helium.

500

How did Saturn gain its rings?

When a moon gets too close to a planet with a massive amount of gravity, it'll pretty much crush the moon into little tiny pieces. The more moons get crushed, the more tiny pieces are created and circle around the planet, eventually creating rings. Uranus also has rings, but the reason why they're "invisible" is because Uranus has destroyed a lot less moons than Saturn has.

500

Explain the schwarzschild radius.

I'll explain the correct answer if need be, because i'd be writing an entire paragraph otherwise...
