Laundry
depends on the dorm location
West side: community laundry room in the basement

You'll download an app "Cisco"
Can be quite expensive
Printing
There exists a multitude of printers everywhere.
This can sometimes give people piece of mind.
It becomes a scavenger hunt to find them all.

Community Showers/Cubbies
I would highly recommend purchasing a robe
Lost of students are able to get a shower caddy and leave it in the cubbies

Check your unit box on a regular basis. You will not get a notification from the mail room if you have a letter or small package come in.
Alumnae Hall
Lots of events
theatre and theatre club performances (Ruth Nagel Jones Theater)
Black box theater
Culture Shows (Main Auditorium)
Orientation gatherings
Dances
Shadow grading
An opportunity to:
explore interests of study you less confident in
find out how to balance mitigating factors
Common Room
Each residence hall has a common room
I would recommend exploring, some of them are quite beautiful (especially tower's)
Great space to study if you don't want to go to the library or leave your residence hall, but get out of your dorm room.
Commuter Rail
Great close mode of transportation into the city if you ever feel like you might want to go into campus.
You can download an app and pay for a day pass
It is also free on the weekends (last time I went...don't quote me lol)
Great for academic breaks to get to the airport
Collins Cinema
Lots of cinema studies classes
Live films events
Connected to Collins Cinema cafe (get free food sometimes)
Only buy what you want to keep
You can always find online textbook links for free 8x/10
Dorms
I find that most people will start with their dorm rooms locked.
As the year goes on most people shift to leaving them unlocked.
Either way, always make sure you have your key when you leave because in either case, I have personally found a way to lock myself out.
Carabiner is great for this.
Flex Points
You have a set amount of money that Wellesley grants you per semester to buy small snacks and goodies from the various shops outside of the meal plan.
Last year it was $75 per semester
