This is a very hard question, so as a bonus thing that I shall add, you shall get 1,000 points from this question, if you answer it correctly: Why are Gypsum and Fluorite found in Ohio?
(Answer) Fluorite is found in Ohio mostly through trade, but also by mining. Because Fluorite is used in Toothpaste, it is a common household rock. Fluorite is also a gas on the periodic table of elements, so it is also used in the production of uranium in our labs. We would import Fluorite for that purpose sometimes.
Gypsum is found in Ohio because it is used in agriculture and is a great fertilizer, so for a farming state (Ohio) it would be a great resource. We traded with other countries to get it and we also mine gypsum, even though it's rare to find in Ohio.
