You have three (3) minutes to get to class.

We line up quickly and follow the teacher outside to the designated area - in the parking area across.
How many class periods do you have each day?
Seven (7)
ELA and Math Classes 2 times/day
What is the procedure when you have to use the bathroom?
Ask your teacher for permission, sign out, and take the bathroom pass. Only one student can leave the class at a time. No one should leave class during the first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes of a class period.
My parents forgot to give me lunch money today. What happens?
Go to lunch anyway and let the lunch staff know your situation. They will provide you with lunch.
Where do I go to see my grades?
Students and parents can go on Focus to see current grades, missing assignments, or late assignments.
What do I do during a "Lockdown"?
We hide in the designated area and stay quiet until code has been cleared.

What should I do if I leave a teacher's class late?
Teachers sometimes keep students a little after the dismissal bell. Remember to ask the teacher to send an email or get a pass from that teacher.
What is the expectation for school computers?
The computer belongs to the district; they just let you borrow it! Make sure that your computer is well taken care of and is fully charged for school.
What are the grading categories and their percentage?
Assignments: 60%
Tests/Quizzes: 30%
Homework: 10%
What should I do during a tornado drill?
We should stay away from all windows, crouch down, and protect our head. We stay in that position until code has been cleared.
What time does your first class start?
9:05 A.M.
Who do I give doctor's notes to?
All doctors or hospital notes go to Student Services first thing in the morning.
What happens if I lose my badge or forget it at home?
You will report to Student Services immediately to get a temporary badge. You will get written up every time you don't have your badge with you, and that is not a good thing!
What are my core classes?
Your core classes are English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, and Social Studies. You must pass these classes!
I overheard someone saying that they have a weapon in their bag, and they're planning on threatening someone with it. What should I do?
You should report all threats, bullying activities, having weapons at school to an adult at the school or the deputy immediately!
What are the names of our two assistant principals?
Mrs. Wannop and Ms. Simmons!
What do I do if I get to class, but the classroom door is closed or my teacher is not outside?
You should line up against the wall quietly and wait for the teacher to open the door.
What happens if I lose my badge?
You will need to report to Student Services and pay money for a new one.
How or where do I see missing assignments?
Most teachers post assignments/Lesson Plan on Canvas, or you can always ask your teacher what his or her expectations are for late or missing assignments.
I smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom. What should I do?
You should report any unusual odor/smell to a teacher, office staff, or administrators immediately!
