Go to lunch anyway and let the lunch staff know your situation. They will provide you with lunch.
How many days do I have to make up assignments if I was out absent?
1 day for everyday that you were absent.

What should I do if I leave a teacher's class late?
Teachers sometimes keep students a little after the dismissal bell. Remember to ask the teacher to send an email or get a pass from that teacher.
What is the expectation for school computers?
The computer belongs to the district; they just let you borrow it. Make sure that your computer is well taken care of and is fully charged for school.
What are the grading categories and their percentage?
Assignments: 40%
Tests/Quizzes/Projects: 60%
What materials do I need in order to be prepared for class?
Word Study notebook, 5 subject notebook, folder/1" binder, pencil pouch with supplies, school computer, charger, wired headphones, and independent reading book.
What time does your first class start?
9:05 A.M.
Who do I give doctor's notes to?
All doctors or hospital notes go to Student Services.
What happens if I lose my badge or forget it at home?
You will report to Student Services immediately to get a temporary badge. You will get written up every time you don't have your badge with you, and that is not a good thing!
What are my core classes?
Your core classes are English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, and Social Studies. You must pass these classes!
What are some non negotiable things that you may not do in Mrs. Ruis class?
Eat, go into backpack without permission in the middle of class, spray perfume or cologne.
What are the names of our two assistant principals?
Mr Burtch and Ms. Simmons
What do I do if I get to class, but the classroom door is closed or my teacher is not outside?
You should line up against the wall quietly and wait for the teacher to open the door.
At what time does my phone have to be turned off and away.
