This council is oversees the functioning of the League through event planning, social media management, and database management
What is Operations Council?
This person is actively leading the JLDOC for a one year term.
What is the President?
This person relocates their membership to a new league.
What is a transfer?
This committee is responsible for spearheading the League's community focus (Women's Health. Period.)?
What is Partner and Projects?
Groups such as Supper Club, Women of Color, and Book Club are all examples of these.
This committee is responsible for organizing volunteer shifts at various partner organizations
What Extra Hands committee?
This is a JLDOC member who is in their first 7 years of membership and has annual requirements to maintain.
What is an Active Member?
This person is learning the roles and responsibilities to lead the League for a year, prior to taking on leadership of the League, while also supporting the current League President.

By completing this annually, you will be assigned to a committee on which to serve for one league year.
What is the placement tool?
This committee is responsible for shepherding new members into active membership (hint: you're hanging out with them right now!)

This person has completed their years of active membership and has transitioned to this level of membership (with fewer requirements)
What is Sustainer?
These convenient kits are distributed by the DBNC to schools and individuals with periods to make sure they have adequate supplies. Bonus: the often include an inspiring note!
What is a Flow Kit?
The name of the beautiful building the JLDOC gets to use for meetings and gatherings
What is the Hill House?
This council leads the charge to bring in money to support the JLDOC (committees include BINGO and Donor and Corporate Sponsorships)
What is the Fundraising Council?
This is "Big Junior League" or the group that oversees the functions of all Junior Leagues, globally.
What is AJLI (Association of Junior Leagues International)?
This person is responsible for maintaining the League's budget, making deposits and issuing refunds for items purchased using League money.
What is the Treasurer?
The inability to access or afford safe, hygienic menstrual products, along with inadequate access to toilets, soap, and hygiene education
What is period poverty?
The annual JLDOC Fall Fundraiser
What is BINGO?
This council is responsible for the lifecycle of a JLDOC member from recruitment through active memberships and event sustainers!
What is the Membership council?
This is the only role to actively serve on both the Board of Directors and Management Team simultaneously.
What is the Executive Vice President (or EVP elect)?
This group is made up of President, President Elect, Immediate Past President, EVP, EVP- Elect, Treasurer, Secretary, DEIBA Director, At Large Member, Nominating chair/cochair and a Sustainer Liaison.
This is event is happening on Saturday, March 21 and is a way to complete your Extra Hands shift requirement and support our partners at DBNC!

Three requirements for successfully completing your Provisional Semester
What are: Pay your dues, Attend Super Saturday, Attend all class meetings, complete 1 extra hands shift, attend 1 provisional dine out, attend 1 additional JLDOC event (e.g. GMM, Supper club, book club)?
