You should make sure your teeth are brushed and you have fresh breath. Your clothes should be washed/clean and should be wrinkle free. You should be wearing deodorant.

People that are applying for jobs should either not wear any perfume or cologne or wear if very minimally (1 light spray maximum). Many places of employment are "scent free" and you should not have any overpowering smell. Jewelry should not be worn at all or be worn minimally.
