How should a person dress for a job interview?
Dress should professional or at minimum business casual. Your dress should also reflect the job or industry you are applying to. example, if interviewing in a conservative industry such as finance or law, stick closely to the conservative attire such as a full suit, white dress shirt, and dress shoes.
What are appropriate resources to research potential employers?
Company websites would be the most helpful. You should look up the mission and vision statements of the company.
What is something you should do as soon as you arrive to the interview?
Check in with whoever is at the front desk, sit quietly in the waiting area, and TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE
What should you do before an interview related to Hygiene?
You should make sure that you are freshly showered, you should have clean and combed hair. If your hair is long it should be pulled back in a pony tail or neat bun. You should make sure your teeth are brushed and you have fresh breath. Your clothes should be washed/clean and should be wrinkle free. You should be wearing deodorant.
What should a person wear with regards to perfume, cologne, jewelry or makeup?
People that are applying for jobs should either not wear any perfume or cologne or wear if very minimally (1 light spray maximum). Many places of employment are "scent free" and you should not have any overpowering smell. Jewelry should not be worn at all or be worn minimally. Makeup should look natural or be worn conservatively.
What is proper body language in the interview?
Sitting up straight in the chair, Do not slouch, use good eye contact, strong handshake, smile, do not look around, look at your interviewer.

You should practice going through interview questions and practice what your answers will be.

You should update your resume and make sure it looks professional and that it is tailored to that specific job

Trendy fashions, A job candidate should NOT come to the interview over-dressed or flamboyant, they should not have mismatched clothes or ripped clothing.
