Minimum wage (in NJ) is $8.85/hour. Base your answer off of this and your skills (what you are bringing to the job). Do not ask for an unreasonable wage.

What should be done the night before an interview?
Get a good nights sleep, practicing mindful thinking and stress relieving techniques, and preparing the clothing you plan on wearing.
When does the interview begin?
As soon as you walk in the company door. How you spend your time in any waiting room can represent you and can alter the opinions of the hiring manager.
Should you call the hiring manager after the interview?
It's alright (and even expected) that you follow up after your interview, but don't overwhelm your potential employer with multiple messages and phone calls. If you reach out too often, you're going to turn off the hiring manager. Typically, if an employer does not call you, it may mean that you did not get the job, but you can check in with the hiring manager 2-4 weeks after the interview.
