What is the date?
Depending on the topic, it is generally safe to include at a minimum this many questions per interview.
What is 5?
On first introduction, one should include the full name and title (if applicable) of a person. Subsequent mentions should only identify the person by this.
What is their last name?
This type of soft news focuses on people and are often human interest stories.
What are feature stories?
This sports analyst is perhaps most well known for hosting ESPN's First Take, but also serves as a panelist for the network's NBA coverage as well.
Who is Stephen A. Smith?
This graphic area on the outside of a design template ensures that the color of a designed page reaches the edge of that page.
What are the bleeds?
While not usually written out beforehand, it is important to include these questions after an interviewee answers to get more depth or information on the topic.
What are follow-up questions?
When writing out numbers, generally, any numbers under this can be spelled out.
What is ten?
This style of journalism requires extensive research to delve into a topic where deadlines are not strictly enforced.
What is investigative reporting?
This duo helped break the Watergate scandal while reporting for the Washington Post. You may remember them from the screening of All the President's Men during Journalism I.
Who are Woodward and Bernstein?
The author's name and title, which goes above the article, goes by this name.
What is a by-line?
These types of sources may be included when you do not reveal who the interviewee is, only when absolutely necessary due to fear of repercussions and no other way to obtain the information is available.
What are anonymous/unnamed sources?
The four guiding principles of AP style are consistency, clarity, accuracy, and this, meaning to keep things concise.
These opinion stories can be unsigned to maintain anonymity of the writers and/or completed by collective writing of the entire staff.
What are editorials?
This legendary CBS News anchor was widely dubbed "the most trusted man in America" during the 1960s and 1970s.
Who is Walter Cronkite?
This example is written in this style, which we want to avoid in journalistic writing:

What is passive voice?
A portion of an interview that may provide additional insight or information, but is not intended by the interviewee to go into the article is this.
