Using PDI Purple Sani Cloth wipes or Clorox. First clean: wipe the outside, dry thoroughly. Then Disinfect: using a NEW FRESH WIPE by wiping 3x horizontally and 3x vertically. Allow to remain wet for entire contact time, dry thoroughly after contact time.
What is the glucometer 2 step cleaning process?
Notify the provider when tests/ diagnostic procedures fall significantly outside the normal range within the 15 minute time frame.
What is reporting critical results?
Patient fridge, medication fridge, blanket warmers.
What requires temperature log checks?
Should be checked and cleaned weekly and documented on a log, caps must remain closed when not in use.
What is the eyewash station?
These need to be segregated and properly stored in a labeled rack (full or empty).

Non permeable gown, gloves, proper don/doff procedure.
What is PPE for contact isolation?
