Why is the book of Judges important? What does God show us?

The book of Judges is important because we read about how the Israelites needed a deliverer and God sent them many judges. However, each time they did not have a judge, they fell away from God. God is trying to show us that we are all sinners in need of a deliverer. That is why He sent us His Son Jesus who died for us and is our deliverer.
