When his army is at Sardis Cassius sees two eagles flying above which represent strength, and power giving good signs. When he gets to Philippu he sees Ravens and Crows which represents death and bad fortune. This a way of foreshadowing that this battle may not be a good one.

Antony attempts to give Caesar a crown three times and each time Caesar refused to accept it the crowd cheered.. Remember when the crowd was cheering they produced a smell that made Caesar fall.

In scene 3 of this Act, a "learned man" reads aloud a letter which he plans to give Caesar. This letter gives a warning to Caesar to be aware of the people around him, and also lists the men involved with the conspiracy.

After Antony gets permission to speak at Caesar's funeral from Brutus. He gives a speech to the crowd that point out all the good that Caesar truly did, as well as read his will to the crowd. What is Riot. They seek to kill the conspirators as well as burn their homes down. You see an example of this at the end of the Act when the crowd comes across Cinna the Poet and because he has a similar name to Cinna, who was involved in the conspiracy they kill him.

Brutus wants to go on the offensive because he says their army is at its maximum compacity and Antony's army will grow stronger as they search for them. Cassius wants to stay on the defensive because he believes that Antony's army will tire themselves out as well as lose resources whil searching for Brutus and Cassius. What strategy is decided upon?

At the end of the play, Antony's final speech about Brutus says what?
Antony's final speech first ends the battle and gives all of Brutus's remaining men the chance to work for Antony. Antony then says that Brutus was a true Roman because he truly in his heart believed he was killing Caesar for the good of Rome. The he was the noblest Roman of them all and he will be given a proper funeral.
