This ceratopsian was born in the late cretaceous and had a parrot-like berk with large frills that could reach nearly one metre long.

Triceratops
Also known as "Hollow form".
This small theropod was a carnivore who relied on speed and agility to catch a variety of animals like insects and small reptiles. They also looked very similar to compys.

Coelophysis
Also known as "Arm lizard".
This sauropod was a herbivore, and a very tall one that lived in prehistoric USA. And it was around 22 metres long.
(Hint: This dino starts with a 'B'. And is the first one we see in the movie Jurassic park)
Brachiosaurus
With the name meaning "Quick plunderer".
This small theropod and carnivore was assumed by most to be much bigger than it's actual size. It is also thought to have been covered in feathers now, unlike before.

Velociraptor
Also known as the "different lizard".
This large theropod lived in the late jurassic, and had distinct 'crests' above its eyes. And, despite being very similar to Tyrannosaurus, it likely isn't related to them at all.

Allosaurus
Known as the "roof lizard".
This armored dinosaur lived in the late jurassic and could've defended itself from predators like Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus with it's powerful spiked tail. It also had boney plates along its back that alternated on either side of the spine.

Stegosaurus
Also known as the "Flat lizard".
This prosauropod was a herbivore that had 5-fingered hands with a large thumb claw, which many believe could've been for either defence or for collecting food.

Plateosaurus
Also known as "Two-crested lizard".
This large theropod was a carnivore who got its name from the two crests atop its head. In life, they were likely covered in keratin(the same stuff as your fingernails). But we are just unsure as that, as we are of them being like grilled lizards or them spitting vemon.

Dilophosaurus
Also known as the "carnivores bull".
This large theropod existed in the late cretaceous and was known for having two horns on the top of it's head. (And probably one of my favorite facts about em is the fact that they have literally no elbows)

Carnotaurus
Also known as the "fused lizard".
This armored dinosaur existed in the late cretaceous. And was similar to an armadillo or a turtle, with an armor covered body. And, despite us not having its full fossil, this species of ankylosaurs remains to be the largest.

Ankylosaurs
Also known as "[Los] Colorado lizard".
This prosauropod was an omnivore, found in Argentina. It had a long body and looked very similar to another dinosaur of it's time.

Coloradisaurus
With the name meaning "Chicken mimic".
This large theropod was an omnivore who was fast-moving and lived in prehistoric Asia. They are often called ostrich dinosaurs due to their appearance, and grew twice the size of an adult human.

Gallimimus
Also known as "Heavy claw".
This large theropod lived in the early cretaceous and had a mouth very similar to that of a crocodile.(It was also a scavenger)

Baryonyx
Also known as the "thick-headed lizard".
This pachycephalosaur lived in the late cretaceous and was known for its thick, dome-like head that was likely used for head-butting others.

Pachycephalosaurus
Also known as "Chinde lizard".
This early dinosaur was a carnivore who had a long, whip-like neck and long legs. Unfortunately, however, we have no skull of them.

Also known as "Terrible claw".
This small theropod lived in the early cretaceous and had a sickle like talon on the 2nd toe of each foot. They were also pack hunters who were closely related to Velociraptor's.

Deinonychus
known as the "spiky lizard".
This armored dinosaur existed in the late jurassic and looked somewhat similar to another dinosaur, the Stegosaurus. Only this one had spikes not only on its tail, but also only it's lower back and shoulders.

Kentrosaurus
Also known as "Early plunderer".
This small theropod was a carnivore who has a pretty well known word from the dinosaurs in its name..

This small theropod was a carnivore, who was covered in feathers and in theory, could use them to fly or at the very least, glide.

Archaeopteryx
With the name meaning "Fire thief".
This small theropod and carnivore got its name after it was first found in the aftermath of a foret fire in Provence, France. It is also believed to be a dromaeosaud, similar to the Velociraptor.
