WHO - Paul and the Christians in Rome.

WHAT - The Christians in Rome were arguing. They did not know how to live with non-Christians. Paul said that we are to glorify Christ, thinking of others above ourselves.

Paul said we should follow the example of Jesus who lived to serve others. Jesus didn't put Himself first, but loved other people by doing good to them.

WHAT - Paul visited churches around Asia, encouraging them in their Faith. Some people did not want Paul to preach because they believed in many gods. One night Paul was giving a sermon and a young man named Eutychus fell from a window. Paul brought Eutychus back from the dead and many believed!

What happened to a young man named Eutychus, who was listening to Paul from a window?

Eutychus was listening to Paul deliver a long sermon. He fell asleep and fell out of a 3 story window and died. Paul went downstairs and, through Jesus' power, brought him back to life!

What is the church?

The church is all Christians everywhere, who gather together in their communities to worship and serve God.

WHAT - Paul and Barnabas spoke to the people about God, and both Jews and Gentiles accepted Christ. The Pharisees thought the Gentiles should have to follow the rules of Moses, and shouldn’t be allowed to be Christians. Paul told everyone that anyone can believe the Gospel.
