No, we are all by nature dead. Only the Holy Spirit can create faith.

God tells us that we are to have a set time for public worship. Jesus rose on Sunday, so Sunday was chosen as the Christian day of worship to remind us of his resurrection.

He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
On what basis is a person saved or not saved?
A person is saved entirely by God’s grace and mercy (God’s doing) and not because of anything in him. A person is damned when they do not believe in Christ and therefore reject His forgiveness (person’s doing).
Why did Jesus need to be true man and true God?
Man - take our place under the law / suffer and die
God - keep the law perfectly / death would count for all sins
