How do our two philanthropies connect to KD's platform of confidence?
Kappa Delta's build confidence in Girl Scouts by serving as mentors and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Activities like campus tours and anti-bullying workshops are meant to help them be their best selves. Kappa Delta supports PCAA's prevention efforts because abuse shatters a child's confidence. Chapters raise funds for PCAA through annual Shamrock events.
When you are initiated into KD, you are a member for life. List 5 ways you can stay active in KD once you have graduated.
Examples:
Join an alumnae chapter, organize an alumnae chapter, serve on a CAB or house corp, update you email and mailing address with national KD, Read the Aneglos, visit KD websites, write letters of recommendation for PNM, plan a reunion with you new member class, support the KD foundation, work at National Headquarters, or serve on the National Leadership Team.
What is the Golden Circle and who is a part of it?
The Golden Circle is comprised of all collegiate chapters that have donated to the Kappa Delta Foundation. As members of the Golden Circle, each member contributes a minimum of $12 annually to the Foundation in support of its leadership, educational and philanthropic initiatives.
