Organization Fairs, other student orgs, tabling, hanging up posters, handing out flyers, word of mouth/bring a friend, department/student mailing lists, chalking sidewalks
These are the ratios representing the minimum and maximum number of counselors a chapter can select
Minimum counselors needed: 1/3 the chapter's camper goal
Maximum counselors allowed: 1/2 the chapter's camper goal
True or False: Only accepted counselors should attend in-person counselor training
False! Waitlisted counselors should attend in-person training as well, so that if a spot opens up, they will not have to complete makeup trainings. Kesem members who are not accepted or waitlist counselors should also be welcomed to attend.
This is the term for all student volunteers regardless of their level of involvement, counselor application status, amount of fundraising, years of experience with Kesem, or year in school.

Describe the three options for counselor applicants
Selected: Qualified and selected to be a counselor
Waitlist: Qualified to be a counselor, but we don't have space for them at camp yet
Rejected: Not qualified to be a counselor
These are two of the most vital aspects of a high quality counselor training.
Engagement: some way for the audience to interact (situations, problem solving, discussion, pop quiz, etc.)
Check for understanding: some way to encourage recall and review of information (quiz, discussion, exit ticket, share out, etc.)
