My film differs from other movies in its genre because it offers a diverse cast since the film follows two black girls. If you were to search holiday movies the first one you see would be offering a predominantly white cast. (to the side show searching up holiday films)

The Case of the Missing Star is a G rated film that is mostly targeted towards children. However, it still is a movie that the whole family can watch and still be entertained by the material.
What apps became easier to apply?
The app that became easier to apply was Adobe Express because at the beginning of the year I was very confused by it. However, by the end of this project I was able to understand it enough to be able to edit the whole opening.
What software technologies did Khylee use during the project?
For software technologies I used Adobe Express to edit my film and to edit little activities throughout the year. Another software I used was Google drive/slides/docs and I used docs to write scripts, slides to plan out my film, and drive to transfer media from my phone to chromebook

The case of the missing star represents all little curious black girls around the world, and to take that a step further it would also be representing all little girls.

The Case of the Missing star engages viewers throughout the film by keeping them on their toes with mysteries and surprises. For example, different obstacles like tricky riddles.
How did Khylee improve certain techniques?
I improved on certain techniques like editing. Although I had a background in editing from editing youtube videos and editing videos for my dads business, I still had a lot to learn and Mr Burgs helped without throughout the project.
What hardware technologies did Khylee use during the projects?
For hardware I used my chromebook to edit my film, plan my film, and do blog posts. I also used my phone as hardware to film my project and edit little videos at the beginning of the year.
How does the Case of the missing Star fit into holiday genre stereotypes?
The film follows stereotypes in the holiday film genre by focusing on elements like the holiday feel and the film follows two people who are obsessed with christmas which is a typical stereotype in the genre.
How would the Case of the Missing Star be distributed?
The plan is to first roll out the film in theatres and then after a couple months we will release the film on certain streaming services like Netflix and Disney+. To push excitement for the film I would also like to sell merch and toys that pertain to the film.

The online technologies I used were edublogs and Google classroom. I used edublogs to write and submit blog posts. I used google classroom to stay up to date on blog posts and I used it to check the guidelines on how to do the blog posts.
