She's in the Blue zone. She could rest in the calm corner, ask to take a nap, eat a snack, drink some water, do some movements

A student is very upset and being unexpected during a learning time? What should you do?
Look away and give them privacy
Do not laugh or talk to them
Let the adults help the student calm down

Green Zone
Why is it important to take deep breathes when you are feeling in the yellow, red, or blue zones?
It gives your brain and body more oxygen and makes your heart rate slow down
Why is it important to have a positive attitude towards learning and improving?
If you aren't positive about your learning you will not learn as much/grow your brain as much.
You notice 2 kids playing at the kitchen then one new kid joins to play and the 2 kids get up and leave the new kid to play by themselves. What could you do?
Ask the student to play with you. Tell the 2 students that you think it hurt that other kids feelings when they did that.
